Kim Phelps, CPA is a Coos County native growing up in Lakeside.  She graduated from North Bend High School in 1991 and went on to Southwestern Oregon Community College before transferring to Southern Oregon State College and graduating in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Kim has worked in various levels of accounting and taxes including governmental accounting and payroll for Southwestern Oregon Community College.

 Kim joined the firm of Michael A. Gordon, CPA in 2002 and has been part of the family since. When Mike decided to retire in 2020, Kim stepped up to take on the responsibility of keeping the family together, joining Susan as the owners of Phelps & Watson, LLC. She is also a Quickbooks trainer and is our go-to-gal for pretty much everything from tech issues to complicated tax questions.

Kim has been very involved in community and was on the board of the Waterfall Clinic when it first was getting off the ground and then SCAT (South Coast Aquatic Team) when her daughter was a swimmer on the team.  More recently she has been involved in various organizations such as 4H and SWOHA (South Western Horsemen’s Association). Kim loves animals and has a chocolate lab, three cats and a horse.
