Alisha Collins, a licensed tax preparer, has been a part of our team since 2013. Alisha was born and raised in North Bend, Oregon. She attended Southwestern Oregon Community College, graduating with a transfer degree in 2003. Prior to finishing her education, Alisha moved to Colorado and worked as a Christian missionary, making several trips to central Asia. She loved it so much, she ended up staying in one of those countries for two years!

After returning home to Oregon, Alisha graduated Magna Cum Laude from Southern Oregon University with a degree in Business and a minor in nonprofit management. Shortly after graduating in 2013, she joined Michael A Gordon, CPA and began her exciting career in public accounting! She is happy to stay with her “family” as part of the Phelps & Watson, LLC team.

Outside of the office, Alisha enjoys giving her time to nonprofits. She is a team member of Shining Light International and is the Treasurer for the Coos County Chapter of Child Evangelism Fellowship. Alisha loves nature and is proud to be a native of the PNW! Her first crush was Smokey Bear! As a kid, she dreamed of becoming a forester, but is now happy to have an indoor job and enjoys hiking/camping/kayaking with friends and family on her days off.
